REEM ASBL is a Luxembourg association sans but lucratif (non-profit association) governed by Luxembourg law, its bylaws, and applicable internal regulations.

Non-profit status

REEM ASBL operates on a strictly non-profit basis. It does not distribute profits to its members and does not engage in commercial trading or for-profit activity. Any surplus generated through legitimate activities is reinvested in the Association’s mission.

No investment advice

Nothing published, communicated, recommended, certified, or otherwise produced by REEM ASBL constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, or trading advice. Visitors and members should obtain independent professional advice before making any decision related to financial products, digital assets, commodities, or other regulated services.

No trading venue

REEM ASBL does not operate a trading venue, exchange, multilateral trading facility, organised trading facility, or any equivalent infrastructure. It is not a market operator and does not match orders, custody assets, or facilitate the execution of trades.

No custody

REEM ASBL does not act as a custodian. It does not hold, store, safeguard, or otherwise take custody of physical materials, financial instruments, digital assets, tokens, or other property on behalf of any participant.

No guarantee or warranty

Standards, certifications, reports, governance frameworks, publications, ecosystem-coordination activities, and other outputs of REEM ASBL are provided on a best-efforts basis. REEM ASBL makes no guarantees or warranties — express or implied — regarding the performance, legality, suitability, compliance, sustainability, or behaviour of any ecosystem participant, asset, infrastructure component, technology provider, or service.

No fiduciary relationship

Participation in REEM ASBL governance processes, working groups, consultations, or publications does not create a fiduciary, advisory, or contractual obligation by the Association toward any participant beyond those expressly stated in the bylaws or written agreements.

Token governance disclaimer

Any references to token-governance procedures, digital registries, or decentralized governance frameworks are descriptive only. REEM ASBL is not an issuer of, sponsor of, or counterparty to any token. Token-related governance frameworks supported by the Association are intended to support ecosystem integrity and transparency, not to confer financial rights or profit expectations.
