Al Mochkin is a technology entrepreneur and researcher with extensive experience across computer science, financial technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital assets, and blockchain infrastructure. Over the course of his career, he has worked on technology and business initiatives spanning banking systems, payments, information security, decentralized finance, and emerging digital-market infrastructure.
An early advocate of blockchain technology, Al has explored its application to financial inclusion, cross-border payments, institutional communications, public transparency, digital ownership, and privacy-preserving systems. He is also the author of the community-oriented Blockchain Dictionary and has published research and commentary on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital privacy, and token architecture.
Al is the founder of N5S, an AI-powered cybersecurity initiative, and the founder of the Mochkin Foundation, which promotes digital literacy, information privacy, and an open and accessible internet.
At REEM ASBL, Al contributes research and strategic thinking at the intersection of critical raw materials, digital-market infrastructure, responsible supply chains, and asset tokenization. His work supports REEM’s mission to develop transparent, auditable, and interoperable frameworks for rare-earth and strategic-material ecosystems.
